Moderately bumped at the tips and bumped with some wear about the head and foot of spine; light offsetting to the front and rear free endpapers. The dust jacket is clipped at the top corner although the numeral "2" is still visible; bottom of front flap just beloww the "ss" in Seuss; rear panel lists "The Other 6 by Dr. Seuss" with review blurbs beneath each. Jacket is chipped at the corners, edges and foot of spine, has a closed tear diagonally from the top front left corner.
The rear panel, while not discolored, is crinkled from dampstaining which is only evident on the blank inner side. An affordable, still collectible alternative to the very pricey first issue.

The four corners are bumped with only very slight rubbing. The head and tail overhang of the spine is slightly bent with very slight rubbing. Pages are slightly toned; very minor smudging on the endpapers.
The scarce dust jacket has numerous tears along the edges. The front of the jacket is missing a 2" x 2" piece in the center of the bottom edge. Around the spine, the jacket is missing a 2" x 1" piece on the bottom and a 2" x 1" piece on the top.multingtemo.ml
